Miami and Miami Beach are famous for their huge number of sunny, gorgeous beaches. Because of all the beaches here, it’s hard to pick which one you should soak up the sun at. Here are a couple of recommendations for you.

Lummus Park Beach is the world-famous beach that’s come to represent all of Miami Beach. There’s always lots of tourists, but it can still be fun and casual. The water is always crystal-clear and warm, too. If you need a break from the beach, you can walk up Ocean Drive right behind the beach and check out all the trendy shops.

Bal Harbour’s beach is a much smaller beach, so it’s a great place to go if you don’t want to deal with crowds. The Bal Harbour beach is great for just relaxing and tanning in a quiet, gorgeous place.

Surfside is another small beach, but that works in its favor. Surfside has more of a small beach town feeling than the other beaches. Plus, there’s a great communal beach picnic on the first Friday of each month in the summer. During these picnics, the residents usually eat, do kid-friendly activities, and swim.
