Have you made any plans for the long Labor Day weekend? If you haven’t, you’ll have no shortage of things to do in South Florida. From participating in Miami Spice to the Florida Marlins and the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show, there are plenty of activities. Let’s explore a couple of additional options.

Have you tried Gili’s Beach Club over in Sunny Isles Beach? If you haven’t, it might be worth a visit! A special holiday menu will be served consisting of items such as Bourbon Honey & Tabasco Chicken Wings, a “Big Kids” Watermelon Lemonade, and much more. The special menu will be available for lunch and dinner beginning this Saturday, September 2nd through the 4th.

Continuing with the food theme, if you’re a fan of Applebee’s the chain will have a special Labor Day offer for families, For every adult entree you purchase, you’ll receive up to two complimentary kids’ meals.

On a different note, those of you planning on visiting Ocean Drive in Miami Beach may want to be aware of something. Beginning in September, the city will kick off its new experimental traffic pattern during the weekends in an effort to improve pedestrian traffic along the popular thoroughfare. If you’re driving, it may be worth keeping that in mind.
