Jazid Is Ready for a Comeback

Due to the spread of a certain notorious virus, nightclubs in Miami Beach have been closed for the time being. After the virus has come and gone, though, you can expect to see a potentially recognizable face among the many clubs welcoming guests to party on the beach.

Have you ever heard of Jazid? Situated on Washington Avenue, the live music club gained quite the status prior to shutting down in 2017. During its heyday, many major names in music performed at the club, including the late legendary musician Prince, best selling Latin singer and actor Ricky Martin, Colombian singer, songwriter, and producer Shakira, and many more.

Jazid now has a brand new owner plus a new creative director spearheading its comeback. The refreshed Jazid is remembering its rich past while introducing fresh changes for 2020. The downstairs bar is now a visual tour de force showcasing 70s and Renaissance era styles while the upstairs social club has comfy couches in teal and crystal chandeliers. Future Jazid guests are welcome to dance on top of the furniture if they wish.

The new Jazid will open its doors at 1342 Washington Avenue. Its operating hours will be Wednesdays through Sundays from 6 pm until late night.
